December 2016 - KFB would like to say a massive thanks to Asda Kirkcaldy for allowing us to host a bag packing event, and to their customers for supporting this event. Particularly thank you to the four Schools and their great pupils, Balwerie High School, Kirkcaldy High School, St Andrews RC High School and Viewforth High School, and to our volunteers who supported this initiative. We raised over £800 thanks to you. Also thanks to Roger Mullen MP also attended and gave his support.

November 2016 - KFB would like to welcome our latest regular donors Kirkcaldy Central Mosque

October 2016 - Harvest Festivals saw generous collections from various churches, schools and community groups as well as The Orange Lodge, the Co-op at Ralston Drive and a number of individuals. Auchtertool Primary School get a special mention for collecting a massive 16 bags of food and £40 in cash, an amazing amount so well done to the whole community of Auchtertool!

September 2015 -

In addition to the very generous donations from all of our regular donors(churches/banks/supermarkets and customers), we received additional support from the following schools:- Capshard Nursery, Cardenden PS, Denend PS, Dunnikier PS, Rosslyn School, Strathallan PS, Thornton PS. We also received donations from staff and Customers at Tesco Cardenden, Potter About Burntisland, St Serfs Church Burntisland, Fiat @ Arnold Clark Kirkcaldy. The Rapid Relief Teamcollected for World Homeless Day and kindly donated this to Kirkcaldy Foodbank. We also received a number of generous donations from Individuals who wished to remain anonymous however these are gratefully received and appreciated.

July 2015 -

 The Panthers Club at Linton Lane, and Kirkcaldy Spiritualist Church made generous donations to Kirkcaldy Foodbank so thank you once more

Balwearie High School made another generous cash donation to help combat food poverty in Kirkcaldy and the surrounding area. The ongoing support of all High schools in Kirkcaldy has played a significant role in allowing us to assist the less fortunate in our community.

 Kirkcaldy's Orange Lodge continue to offer their support by way of a food and £100 cash donation. This is in addition to their regular and equally generous food donations which are very much welcomed and appreciated.

 A huge thank you to Mind and Body for their support and recent donation of £118

16/05/2015 - Starley Hall School, Burntisland, recently organised a pop-up clothes shop in the Mercat and were proud to be able to donate around £2000 in cash and food donations to the Foodbank.

01/03/2015 Kirkcaldy Rotary Interact club at Kirkcaldy High School raised a generous  £67.20 for Kirkcaldy Foodbank delivering candy canes. Megan presenting the cheque to Angela Gourlay.


10/02/2015 - Crosbie Matthew generously donated four trolleys to assist our volunteers when packing Food parcels, and AlbaVetdonated the additional Crates we required to keep up with demand for parcels.
