Getting A Food Parcel

Accessing Kirkcaldy Foodbank

We provide food parcels to people in need in the Kirkcaldy area. This includes Kinghorn, Burntisland (we have a distribution point there), Cardenden/Bowhill and the Wemyss. If you live outside the Kirkcaldy area, you will find other local foodbanks who can help you.‚Äč

Service users access Kirkcaldy Foodbank through our referral system. We work closely with number of agencies who operate in the Kirkcaldy area and are already supporting local people in some way. A comprehensive list of our referral agents can be found by clicking Here.

We also accept Self Referrals from Clients who are not currently supported through partner agencies.


Referral agents will fill in a referral form (taking note of things like how many people are in the household, any dietary requirements they may have etc) and will provide the service user with a food voucher.  The voucher can then be presented at one of our distribution points and a suitable food parcel will be provided. 

Collecting Your Food Parcel

Once you have received your food voucher from one of our referral agents you can take it to one of the following distribution points and collect your food parcel. Click Here. for a list
